Texas Capitol Annex

This ‘purple hour’ photo of the Texas Capitol Annex is another image I shot during the recent Trey Ratcliff photowalk. This is a side that relatively few tourist see. This is on the north site of the capitol looking south. Most visitors walk up Congress avenue from the business & music district on the south side and enter the building from the south, never seeing this view.

Termin8er, I use Photomatix Pro. It is pretty much the default for HDR work. I believe the key with HDR is don’t just process with Photomatix & then consider your work done. I virtually always end up layering in portions of the bracketed exposures back into the HDR & then typically do quite a bit of burning & dodging to the final image.
