I know I’ve been doing a lot of Austin Skyline shots lately, but I keep getting request for more images showing the almost "complete" skyline. Of course, it’s never truly complete, but at least most of the cranes are down. Although my exposures were way to long for them to appear in the final photograph, as I was photographing Austin across the water several kayaks silently rowed by. What a wonderful way to spend an evening.

Daily Photo – The Harleyfest on 6th Street
This is one of the best times in Austin for HDR Photography! I really think it’s perfect perfect conditions to really show off what this style of photography can do. Long exposures just don’t do the trick. The wonderful thing about being there is that the human eye really can see all these colors and light levels at the same time. At least… to those of us that see like this. I’m convinced that after talking to countless groups that not everyone "sees" in the same way. It’s not that one way is better than another – just different. What do you think?

Monkey Christmas and a Happy New Year

One last shot before the Christmas tree comes down for the year.
That monkey picture I had put on canvas for the gallery show here in Austin. It just happens to match the red on our walls so we put up a copy of it, because nothing says the holidays like a monkey on a wall from a Muslim country.
Looks best: Large on Black
Thanks all! For you, here are the most Popular Pictures you dig from my stream. Thanks again!
