The Dollyrots were in Austin yesterday for their Emo’s show. Lead singer, Kelly Ogden called to invite me to the “green” room before the show. We did some photos and had a great time. There are lots to show, but here are three four I grabbed off the stack today:

They’re on tour and making their way through Texas again. Tonight, The Dollyrots will be at Emo’s with The Action Design and The Sweethearts.

The details can be fascinating when shooting music. The spaghetti of wires and cords on the stage, the way a drumstick hits a snare… When taking pictures, find those little things that catch the eye and have fun with them.
